FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to enhance control properties of multicell converters by continuous integration of present error signal of output parameter of converter from predetermined value with two time constants of integration, by limiting of generated signals, by their summing and by conversion of control signal into N-character binary digital code by quantization over N levels and by control over operation of conversion cells by means of formed code. One of time constants of integration is selected smaller than second one. First level of limiting of signals is set equal to value of minimal quantization level and second level -(N-1) value of first level of limiting.
