SURFACE WASHING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: washing of surfaces, in particular, washing of floor in individual and public compartments. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has washing member with washing chamber incorporating centrifugal impellers mounted on toothed wheels, which transmit rotary motion to centrifugal impellers through gear mounted on electric engine shaft and fixed by bolt, washer and spline. Toothed wheels are positioned in sleeves by means of bearings fastened to toothed wheels through rings, with sleeves being secured on carcass. Washing of heavily soiled floor is facilitated by providing centrifugal impellers with two diametrically opposed end brushes. Plated members positioned in corners of washing chamber are adapted for closing clearances between centrifugal impellers and washing chamber wall. Outburst of washing liquid from washing chamber is prevented by washing liquid baffle and tubular clearance sealing unit fixed on carcass through clearance sealing unit holder. Apparatus is further provided with washing liquid supply system and waste washing liquid withdrawal system. Washing liquid is removed from space between baffle and clearance sealing unit by vacuum suction system. EFFECT: improved quality of washing surfaces, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
