FIELD: preparing of high-molecular floculants. SUBSTANCE: method involves polymerization of water-soluble anionic monomer with double bond or its copolymerization with nonionic monomer in the presence of branching agent and carrier of kinetic chain taken at concentration providing viscosity of copolymer in solution equal at least 3 MPa under condition of measurement in viscosimeter Brookfield with VL=adapter at 25 C, at copolymer concentration 0.1 wt.-% in 1M NaCl at 60 rev/min in the presence of branching agent taken at concentration 4-80 mol. p. Source of anionic monomers: (meth)acrylic acids, sulfoalkyl (meth)acrylic acids, sulfonated styrenes, nonsaturated dicarboxylic acids, sulfoalkyl(meth)acrylamides, salts of indicated acids. Source of nonionogenic monomers: acrylamide, N-alkylacrylamide, N,N-dialkylacrylamide, methacrylamide, vinyl acetate, alkyl(meth)acrylate, acrylonitrile, N-vinylmethylacetamide and N-vinylpyrrolidone.
