FIELD: filtering equipment for cleaning liquid phase from suspended solid particles. SUBSTANCE: method involves continuously passing suspension forced by hydrostatic pressure through pores of filtering member filaments, which are continuously vibrating one with respect to the other. Vibratory filter-thickener has housing 1 with pressure tank 2, discharge chutes 3 and discharge branch pipes 4. Housing 1 is rigidly connected with stators 6 of electromagnetic vibrators 7. Filtering members are made in the form of polymeric filaments and are collected into pack, which is mounted in horizontal position in upper part of housing 1 at both sides of pressure tank 2. Filtering members 9 are rigidly connected with anchors 13 of electromagnetic vibrators 7. In the process of vibration polymeric filaments are caused to move one relative to the other to provide for continuous recycling of filtering members. EFFECT: increased capacity and enhanced reliability in operation by continuous recycling of filtering members. 3 cl, 1 dwg
