FIELD: gas scrubbing from liquid and gaseous harmful impurities in chemical, power, food and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: additional drip pan is made in the form of vane swirler 7 with hollow vertical vanes, whose face side is perforated and coated with a layer of porous material. The vane space communicates with pan 12 used for accumulation of liquid and installed under the vanes, the vane space is provided with a vertical ejection slit positioned in the peripheral end part of the vanes. Wall 15 of column 1 is perforated at the level of vane swirler 7, coated with porous material 16 and provided with annular chamber 17 for accumulation of liquid. Fixed on perforated wall 15 are vertically installed hollow vanes 18 inclined towards gas rotation, the vanes have slits over the side edges and projecting over the surface of porous material 16.
