FIELD: straightening of curvilinear panels on riveting and welding equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has three hydraulic suspensions 1, 2 and 3 frame 4 carrying panel 5 to be subjected to straightening. Frame 4 is loosely suspended on suspensions 1, 2 and 3. Two following slides 6 and 7 are adapted for automatic positioning of panel 5 in longitudinal direction in vertical plane at two points of contact of panel 5 with following slides 6, 7. In this case slide 6 controls movement of hydraulic suspensions 1 and 2 in synchronism one with respect to the other and slide 7 controls movement of hydraulic suspension 3. Hydraulic suspensions 1,2 and 3 are loosely suspended for transverse displacement on beams 8 and 9, which are loosely movable on longitudinal carriages 10 and 11. Guides of carriages are mounted on four poles above panel straightening equipment. Thus, loosely suspended panel is loosely movable in horizontal plane in the process of straightening in longitudinal and transverse directions. In case numerical control is used, detectors 22 of numerical control feedback electric automatic equipment are mounted on hydraulic suspensions 1, 2 and 3. Numerically controlled positioning mechanism disposed below panel is connected with frame 4 through pivot joint units by two vertical poles. One of poles is movable by positioning mechanism in transverse direction and other pole is movable in transverse and longitudinal directions by numerical control system.
