FUR SKIN COMBING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: fur industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has two fur skin feeding rollers, rotating combing shaft with central shaft provided with disks seated onto central shaft and combing members mounted on disks circumferentially of them. Machine is further provided with worked fur skin receiving device, aspiration housing and drives. Combing shaft has steel rods fixed against longitudinal shift by nuts and mounted in openings made in outer edges of disks in equally spaced relation along their circumference. Sleeves are formed by two hollow cylinders of different diameters and positioned in adjoining relation on rods. Combing members are formed as steel plated teeth with one end sharpened and other end provided with opening, which facilitates loose mounting of tooth on smaller-diameter cylinder of associated sleeve. Front working face of tooth is inclined forward in the direction of rotation of combing shaft. When tooth is radially positioned, front working face of tooth defines acute angle with disk circle tangent extending from tooth front face and disk circle intersection point.
