FIELD: automotive vehicles; brake systems. SUBSTANCE: method of brake pressure control in brake system protected from locking provides for measuring slip and/or deceleration or brake wheel in regular way comparing obtained value with preset threshold value and reducing braking pressure, if preset value is exceeded. To ensure against undesirable drop of braking pressure, threshold value for preset time intervals is first raised relative to main value (SG) and then reduced again. At moment T1 of time at which deceleration of brake wheel rotation exceeds physically possible deceleration of vehicle, threshold value is abruptly raised and then reduced according to preset time function. During reduction of threshold value, change of speed of braked wheel at preset time intervals ΔT is measured and result is compared with momentary rise of threshold value, and if comparison shows that change of speed exceeds momentary rise of threshold value, the latter is reduced to main value.
