METHOD OF THINNING DOWN TAPE IN SPINNING MACHINE AND DRAWING-OUT DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT SAME Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes tightening tape by means of endless belt in zone where tape is drawn out between feed and draw-off pairs of drawing-out device by gradually converting flat shape of endless belt into V-shape by means of endless belt guide shaft disposed on side of draw-off pair. There is annular V-shape groove on cylindrical surface of guide shaft on side of draw-off pair. In radial section of guide shaft, groove has angle (at apex) of 45 to 60 deg. Width of belt is equal to 1.24 - 166 of maximum width of groove. Sandwiched in between belt and draw-off pair is sealing funnel partially located in V-shape groove of guide shaft.
