FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: compressor has, at least, two adsorbers 1,2 filled with sorbent and positioned with a spaced relation to cooled housing 3. The adsorbers are provided with heaters 4,5 and passages 6,7 for suction and delivery of fluid having check valves 8-11. Adsorbers 12 consists of main chambers 12,13 and additional chambers 14,15. The additional chambers is in communication with spaces 18,19 through passages 16,17. Each of chambers 14,15 can be provided with an additional sorbent heater. A unit for heat exchanging between fluid and sorbent, which is made up of passages 20,21, is positioned in the chambers for heating and cooling sorbent by compressor fluid. The passages is connected to chambers 12,13 from one side and to passages 6,7 through check valves 8-11 from the other side. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
