SUBSTANCE: sliding averaging of deviations of readings is carried out against their arithmetic mean with weight coefficients one of which takes into account mean square deviation of initial process. Values of realization transformed will be rather small when noise background is available at initial realization. When systematic component is available in initial realization, values of function transformed arise abruptly to mark by peak any defect; elongation of the peak corresponds to size of the defect.
