FIELD: studies of physical and chemical properties of materials. SUBSTANCE: method of study of properties of lanthanide silicates includes determination of magnetic susceptibility of sample and comparison of obtained dependence of magnetic susceptibility with value calculated theoretically. For comparison of properties graph of dependence of magnetic susceptibilities of metasilicates of lanthanides on their atomic masses calculated theoretically is used.
