FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: method of the cold rolling of strips including the preliminary strip working, their butt welding, trimming, creation of waves along the lateral edges of the strip in the zone of the weld and rolling in rollers is exercised on one of the jointing strips of the wave shaping them by the transverse bend before cutting-off and welding and creating the maximum elbow on the edges which smoothly decreases up to the zero towards the strip middle. During the rolling the strip with waves on the lateral edges is the first to be fed to the deformation groove. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the rolling process and the rolling quality. 5 dwg
