FIELD: sharply bent branch pipes production. SUBSTANCE: pipe blank in heated state is pulled through horn-shaped mandrel. Then it is cut and calibrated by turning cutting and calibrating tools around curvilinear part of pipe. In the case axis of rotation is tangential to axis of curvilinear part of pipe, drawn perpendicularly to plane of cutting, and calibrating tool is moved together with movement of curvilinear part of pipe along own axis. center of which coincides with center of branch pipe curvature. Speed of movement of cutting and calibrating tools is equal to speed of pipe pulling from horn-shaped mandrel. EFFECT: branch pipe production method is used in sharply bent branch pipes production. 2 dwg
