FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method lies in intaking the material out of the feed hopper, in supplying through the channel in the direction of the inlet chamber and in the periodical pulsating supply into the press chamber. In this case only the portion of the material directly adjoining the press chamber is subjected to the pulsating action. The prepressing mechanism has feeding 3 and thickening 4 worms mounted in housing 1. The shaft of the thickening worm has a smooth terminal part set inside the feeding worm. Spring 15 is fastened on the end of the thickening worm. The other end of the spring is connected with driving pulley 10. The pulley is rigidly connected with the shaft of the feeding worm. Such an installation of the shafts allows the thickening worm to turn relative to the feeding one. EFFECT: ensured periodical pulsating supply of the final portion of the material to the press chamber. 4 cl, 1 dwg
