FIELD: fan engineering. SUBSTANCE: fan has housing, working wheel mounted inside the space of the housing, inlet branch pipe, and guide vanes. The guide vanes is made up of inlet manifold and shell whose inlet diameter is grater than the inner diameter of the manifold. The shell is mounted for axial movement along guides at the branch pipe outlet. A fairing is mounted outside of the shell, and cylindric branch pipe is received in the manifold and shell.
