FIELD: thermal power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat-transfer apparatus has heat pipe installed in chamber wall. Its inner end is placed below its outer end. The latter mounts controller which may be made as mechanism for displacement of inner end of pipe or heat-insulating member embracing this end. Heat-insulating member is mounted for longitudinal displacement. Displacement mechanism may be made in the form of bellows. Heat exchanger is mounted on inner end of pipe between chamber wall and controller. Heat exchanger is connected to cold water supply system. EFFECT: improved design. 10 cl, 5 dwg
