FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: lubricating-cooling liquid has following composition ( in mass %): mineral oil with blazing up temperature of 270 - 280 C, kinematic viscosity of 150 mm/s under 50 C - 33.0 - 35.0, oleic acid - 10.0 - 14.0, triethanolamine - 6.5 - 8.0, thiocarbamide - 2.0 - 2.5, catapin - 2.0 - 2.5, polyoxyethilene ester of alkylphenols - 9.0 - 10.0, polysiloxane liquid - 1.0 - 1.4, soaps of alkali metals of synthetic fat acids C5-C6 2,0-2,5, water - the rest. Joint presence of surface-active materials of oleic acid triethanolamine improves antifriction features, alkali soaps and polyoxiethylene ester of alkylphenol increase lubricating efficiency of the lubricant. Thiocarbamide acts as score-proof component. EFFECT: given composition of lubricating-cooling liquid increases durability of press mold during casting ingots of magnesium alloys at the average up to 1000 pieces. 1 tbl
