FIELD: gaseous-discharge illuminating lamps. SUBSTANCE: polyphase gaseous-discharge lamp has burner made of optically transparent material with hermetically sealed electrodes. Extreme electrodes are mounted on ends and the rest - in center part of burner. At least one of electrodes is mounted for movement. Moving electrodes are produced from corrugated current leads.
