APPARATUS TO FIX CASTING MOLD AND METHOD OF ITS USE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus to fix casting mold has tool for its fixation on suspension of conveyer. Tool is made as lever, hinged to guiding bush, mounted on end of movable rod and fixed by stud to prevent turning. Stationary support has axial drilling and radial helical grooveю. On movable rod threading there is resting ring with radial holes, contacting bottom of drilling by its upper butt during mounting on suspension of conveyer. Resting ring is mounted with limiting clearance between butt of ring and bottom of groove. Metal pin is mounted in one of radially located holes of resting ring and after pressing the lever pin is taken out in case of lifting rest ring up along rod or they press the lever, insert pin and make the lever free - in case of lowering the rest ring down along rod. In the case they cut direct thread on rod and length of helical groove of stationary support is made equal or multiple of number of spaces between holes of rest ring.
