SUBSTANCE: functional converter has reference-signal source whose power buses function as converter input terminals, error amplifier, and adjustable dummy load; reference-signal source output is connected to error signal input whose output is connected to control input of adjustable dummy load; power circuits of error amplifier and adjustable dummy load are combined and connected to power buses of reference-signal source. Functional converter may be provided with rectifier inserted between input and power buses of converter. Functional converter may be provided, in addition, with heat-transfer line having thermal contact with adjustable dummy load and functioning as output of functional converter alarm signal.
