FIELD: plastic working of metals. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing of formed corrugated sections, preferably sheet sections with trapezium-shaped corrugations, by forming corrugations along transition regions, specified by process, successively from middle portion of billet to peripheral portions, with walls of each corrugation being disposed in planes corresponding to their position in terminating transition region; biasing roll axes of rotation in vertical plane to maintain distance for corrugations to be formed from inner bending zone to axis axes of rotation equal for each process transition region, with this distance being kept within predetermined value for at least one corrugation of section in terminating forming stand of mill. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities of method by providing manufacturing of sections with trapezium-shaped corrugations having different height and shape and corrugations positioned at both sides of forming plane, reduced power consumption and high quality of profiles. 7 dwg
