CARGO MECHANISM OF BOX BODY VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: mechanized handling of cargo in vehicles. SUBSTANCE: box body 1 of vehicle has guide 3 of U-shaped section, mounted on box body ceiling for moving on rollers 2 by means of drive, which is formed by toothed rack 8 fixed on guide 3 and engageable with toothed gear 9. Toothed gear 9 is attached on carriage 4 carrying grip 5. Carriage may be blocked by retaining mechanism relative to ceiling of box body to provide travel of guide 3. Wedge-shaped thrusts 20 fixed on guide 3 are engageable with rollers 2 for fixing guide 3 in transport and operating position. Catch fixed on box body ceiling along its longitudinal axis is adapted for retaining guide 3 in transport position. Spring-loaded stop pivotally attached on guide 3 is engageable with recess in ceiling. Box body door has thrust member secured to its inner surface. Mechanism for retaining guide 3 in operating position has brackets 19 fixed on box body ceiling adjacent to door opening by retainers, which are pivotally attached to brackets. Retainers are engageable with catches rigidly secured on guide 3. Carriage retaining mechanism has auxiliary brackets mounted on box body ceiling in opposite relation with respect to toothed rack, auxiliary retainers attached to carriage case for engagement with auxiliary brackets.
