FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism comprises output shaft 2 and additional shaft 4 having perpendicular axes, gear hypoid transmission, whose first wheel 3 mounted on output shaft 2 and coupled with it through a spline joint and second wheel 6 is rigidly secured to additional shaft 4, and cylindrical gear wheel 5 engaging with the cylindrical gear rack of output shaft 2. When drive 7 is actuated, rotation is transmitted forum driving shaft 8 to additional shaft 4 and driving hypoid gear wheel 6 and, then, to second hypoid gear wheel 3 and output shaft 2. Simultaneously, intermediate shaft 4 transmits rotation to cylindrical gear wheel 5 which moves output shaft 2 in the axial direction. As the result, output shaft 2 is set in screw motion. When drive 7 is reversed, output shaft 2 is reversed too. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
