FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: batch contacting not less than 87 wt.-% of the copper powder with additions not less than 5 wt.-% of aluminium and other components of alloy is mixed with the industrial oil. Then the extrusions are sintered in the atmosphere at the temperature of the furnace chamber equal to 600-750 C in the mode of self-ignition with the consequent hardening in oil. This hardening also serves as the impregnation of porous bearings in oil. The bearings sintered according to this method have a considerably less wear, a longer operating life in the mode of self-lubrication, and a lesser price cost than the prototype has. The innovation concerns the sintered powder porous bearings and materials on the base of copper with additions of aluminium and other components. EFFECT: simpler method of producing the porous impregnable with oil bearings and their enhanced tribotechnical characteristics in case of boundary lubricant in the mode of self-lubrication. 2 cl, 1 tbl
