FIELD: veterinary. SUBSTANCE: composition has pyrethroid, acetone, alcohol, foaming agent and propellent. Alpha-methrin is used as pyrethroid, Tween-80 as a foaming agent. Additionally composition has water and oil at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: alpha-methrin 0.001-0.02; acetone 10-15; primary aliphatic alcohols 2-5; Tween-80 0.5-1.0; oil 40-50, and propellent - the rest. Use of proposed composition ensures to decrease period of treatment of animal with psoroptosis by 12-13 days and increase cure degree by 14%. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of composition. 3 cl
