FIELD: transport; lubrication system. SUBSTANCE: oil cleaning filter has housing, cover with inlet and outlet holes, filtering element, antidrain and bypass valves. Filter has magnetic system in form of removable cap made of flexible material and provided with permanent magnets in end face and sides. Use of magnetic system increases service life of filter, enhanced quality of oil cleaning and makes it possible to use magnetic system repeatedly, thus saving magnetic material. magnetic system made according to offered method provides preliminary cleaning of oil from iron-containing impurities without introduction of design modifications into standard circuit of oil filter, for instance that of LADA cars.
