FIELD: inker for rotary printers. SUBSTANCE: inker has feed cylinder with rotary drive, a set of rubbing and distributing rollers with flexible coating and cylinders with rigid surfaces. Cylinders and rollers are rotated by means of plate cylinder through two parallel groups of gear drives. One group of gear drives is designed for driving of rollers and other group of gear drives is designed for driving of cylinders, with all rollers and cylinders being provided with axial motion drive having independent electric engine with variable rotational speed. Kinematic connection of couplings on cylinder ends and rollers with axial motion drive is made in the form of inclined washers, whose surfaces are disposed at an angle with respect to their axes of rotation. Outer tire-shaped surfaces of washers are engageable with inner surfaces of couplings of adjacent cylinders and rollers. The length of all rollers and cylinders is sequentially reducing by twice the value of axial displacement, beginning with cylinder, which is in contact with distributing roller, and ending with roller, which is in contact with ink-receiving cylinder.
