FIELD: application of coats. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparing the surface of pipe, fluxing, drying and forming the coat from melt by pumping it through the pipe; during pumping, pipe shall be inclined to horizontal plane at angle of 12 to 47 deg; pumping shall be effected at a rate of V = α 0.4, where V is melt flow rate, m/min; a is angle of inclination of pipe to horizontal plane, deg and 0.4 is empirical coefficient, m/deg.min.
