FIELD: flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method consists in including the load-bearing members into the flying vehicle structure which are removed in flight; load-bearing members are formed through local freezing of liquid substance effected during preflight preparation and/or during flight; working substance of flying vehicle, cryogenic fluid inclusive, may be used for the purpose. Liquid substance is frozen on structural member, for example on fuel tank by means of heat-exchange apparatus with cooled surfaces forming load-bearing member being frozen which is then thawed by heating the heat-exchange surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 7 dwg
