FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: parental boron-containing raw is dissolved preliminary in water at the mole ratio of boron to water 1:4-2. Then 20-35% hydrogen peroxide solution and 30-60% potassium hydroxide solution were added up to the mole ratio of boron to hydrogen peroxide and potassium hydroxide 1:1.2-1.5 and 1:0.25-1.0, respectively. After this fluoride- or acetate-containing compound is added at the mole ratio boron:fluorine: acetate 1:0.2-0.6 or 1:0.1-0.5, respectively. Solution is kept at 25-35 C, and formed precipitate is separated and dried. Content of active oxygen in potassium peroxoborate is up to 21.72%. EFFECT: improved method of preparing.
