FIELD: metallurgy; mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for regulation of ecologically clean carbonitriding process includes continuous recirculation of endogas between endogenerator and furnace with addition to working space of furnace of hydrocarbon and ammonia. Added to return flow of recirculating endogas is carbon dioxide whose amount is regulated by signal of computer of regulator of carbon dioxide-to-hydrogen ratio, and depending on type of initial hydrocarbon converted into endogas and added to furnace carbon dioxide-to-hydrogen ratio is regulated within the range of 1: (0.7-1.1) by varying ratio of volume of carbon dioxide addition to volume of total addition of hydrocarbon and ammonia as 1:(0.6-1.3).
