FIELD: vehicle diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: optical stand has light source 1, two mirrors 4 and 5 secured on axle of steerable wheels 2 and 3, four mirrors 10,11,12 and 13 arranged at angle of 45 degrees relative to light flow, and screen 7 with relatively perpendicular scales. Laser is used as light source. One of four mirrors, namely, mirror 10, is made semitransparent. Stand is furnished with additional screen 6. Both screens 7 and 6 are installed coaxially with steerable wheels and are provided with central holes 8 and 9. Mirrors 10-13, in their turn, are arranged in vertices of rectangle one side of which coincides with axis of steerable wheels. EFFECT: enhanced quality of wheel alignment. 2 dwg
