FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: drive 2 rotates support 20 with bell-cranks 18 with knives 21 attached to it. Wire 26 is led into semi-automatic device till it touches rest 8 of rod 7. The latter moves in immobile guide 5, forces sensor 9 to operate and to send signal into control unit 39 to generate signal for switching on of drives 15, 27 and 30. Drive 15 moves pusher 12 controlling convergence of knives 21, drive 27 controls grippers 25 of wire and drive 30 controls operation of carriage 23. As soon as knives 21 cut insulation carriage 23 sets in motion and strips insulation from wire. When carriage 23 reaches sensor 38 of limit switch the latter sends signal into control unit 39 and all units of semi-automatic device set to initial position. EFFECT: simplified design of semi-automatic device, diminished dimensions and enhanced reliability of it. 11 cl, 1 dwg
