FIELD: metal plastic working. SUBSTANCE: method includes operations of cutting work piece, preliminary upsetting heads in the form of truncated cone, upsetting cylindrical head. At the last but one position processes of cleaving and upsetting are combined with reversal pressing out. Processes of expansion and pressing out are combined with reversal material flow at the last position. Punches with special working surface, ensuring stable forming in the case of metal non-symmetrical flow are provided for the last two positions. EFFECT: highly productive process. 3 cl, 7 dwg
