FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: assembling head has body with cone placed inside, support bushing and support with row of balls in cage in between. Support bushing is installed inside cone with compensating clearance. Spring-loaded piston is installed in line with support bushing for motion. Found of axle of piston is adjustable stop installed in housing cover and engaging with piston along spherical surface. Maximum angle between line passing along diagonal through extreme points of contact of mating conical surfaces of housing and cone in central section of assembling head and cone generating line is not less than 90 degrees. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 4 dwg
