FIELD: machine-tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: machine has an arbor vertically installed in the body and having two spaces in the ends, as well as a chuck installed on two bars with a tool attachment mechanism. Located in the arbor upper space is the workpiece feed and chucking mechanism, using a collet and double-acting piston connected to the rod. The machine tool has a chuck attachment mechanism made in the form of two string-loaded single-acting pistons, positioned in radial holes made in the chuck for engagement with the bars. The machine tool has also a mechanism used to return the chuck to the initial position, made in the form of a flat member with projections and installed for movement along the bars and engagement with the rods of additional cylinders.
