FIELD: power tools. SUBSTANCE: with drive switched on, rotary motion fron drive output shaft 2 is transmitted through striker 3, and striking pins 16 to synchronizer 11 and, further on, through control bushing 23 and locking bushing 21 and intermediate shaft 9, to spindle- anvil 5. At increase of resistance in thread, spindle-anvil 5 stops. When definite angular velocity is attained, pin 18, under action of centrifugal forces, moves, overcoming resistance of spring 19, towards periphery of striker 3 and limits angular displacement of control bushing 23. Control path 13 and shaped projection 14 slide along shaped projection 22 of locking bushing 21, and synchronizer 11 moves together with striking pins 16 to spindle-anvil 5. Striking pins 16, engaging with working cams 7 of spindle-anvil 5, transmit kinetic energy accumulated by striker 3 to working cams in form of impact.
