FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing of a valve is constructed as a cylindrical pipe. A sensor is made up as ring chamber 14 having resilient walls and filled with fluid 4 and cylindrical plunger 1 rigidly connected with the walls of chamber 14. The chamber abuts upon the inner side of the pipe. The plunger is arranged along the pipe axis and made of a material which exhibits a change in its volume due to absorbing of hydrogen. Chamber 14 is hydraulically connected with the system for engine cutoff. Plunger 1 is provided with through openings 13 which are perpendicular to the plunger axis.
