FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: fast-action switching device incorporates contact and change-over mechanisms. Case of contact mechanism has bearing protrusions with dimension between them equal to summary height of central and extreme elements plus intercontact gap. Extreme contact elements are made restoring with displacement of upper end with reference to lower one by size of neccessary elastic deformation of contact elements. Change-over mechanism is assembled in case, it incorporates rod, extreme U-shaped elements of sectional slider, inserts, cylindrical springs central element, covers, return spring, button. Case of change-over mechanism is made in the form of hollow cassette with holes in upper side and crusiform groove in lower side. Slider of change-over mechanism is fabricated sectional, its extreme elements have U-shape with protrusions for cylindrical springs, its upper strap has locating seat to accomodate insert. Insert of change-over mechanism are manufactured laminated with T-shaped protrusions and are hinged with ends to protrusions of straps of U-shaped elements of sectional slider and with other ends to central element of sectional slider. Upper part of central element has bearing protrusions, in both sides of central part there are made locating seats for inserts and protrusions having inclined plane for interaction with carriers of contact mechanism.
