SUBSTANCE: locking device is disposed on outer side of genicular unit and incorporates segment 3 positioned for revolution on axle of genicular unit spring-loaded and attached to segment of tooth 5 located for rotary motion on axle secured to femoral portion of genicular unit and lamellar flexible member 11 whose one end is rigidly connected to crural portion of genicular unit to compensate for variation in flexible member length in opening of genicular unit. EFFECT: higher quality of prosthesis capable of active extension into backward beat phase, reduction of asymmetry of vectors of extremity fitted with prosthetic appliance and nonaffected extremity, plus energy saving. 3 cl, 5 dwg
