FIELD: gas cleaning. SUBSTANCE: starting gas mixture is fed under pressure to the first stage of diaphragm cleaning, penetrated flow is separated, and retained flow is fed to the second stage of diaphragm cleaning, penetrated flow is separated, compressed and fed together with the starting gas mixture to the first stage of diaphragm cleaning, flow retained in the second stage is fed to the third cleaning stage, penetrated flow is separated, compressed and fed together with the flow retained in the first stage to the second cleaning stage, finely cleaned retained component is extracted. Flows retained in the first and second stages are fed to the second and third stages of diaphragm cleaning, respectively, under the starting gas feed pressure; use is made of diaphragms with a factor of separation of the more penetrating component from the retained one equal to 2-12; the total working surface of diaphragms of the first and second stages is larger for high separation factors than for low ones, and the areas of the diagram surface in the three cleaning stages are distributed in such a manner that concentration of the more penetrating component in the flow penetrated in the third cleaning stage is lower than that retained in the first flow stage, and concentration of the more penetrating component in the flow penetrated in the second cleaning stage is lower than its concentration at the inlet to the first stage. A diaphragm system is offered for implementation of the method. The diaphragm surfaces among the three cleaning stages are distributed as follows: 8 to 45% of the total area of the diaphragm surface at a separation factor of 4, and 20 to 64% at a separation factor of 10 to 45% of the total area of the diaphragm surface at a separation factor of 4, and 20 to 64% at a separation factor of 10 for the first cleaning stage, 10 to 30% at a separation factor of 4, and 20 to 30% at a separation factor of 10 for the second cleaning stage, the rest - for the third cleaning stage. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 6 cl, 3 dwg
