SUBSTANCE: packing consists of vertical members in the shape of cylinders or prisms of the reticular-knitted fabric equipped with strips located inside along the whole length. The strips are crimped in the transverse direction and have the form of screw bodies mounted close to the inner surface of the vertical members. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of mass exchange at the expense of the radial mixing of phases and of additional turbulization of the steam phase. 4 dwg
