AGENT FOR DISINFECTION AND STERILIZATION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: medical materials for disinfection and sterilization. SUBSTANCE: this agent includes 1.8 to 2.5 percent by mass glutaric aldehyde, 0.8 to 1.0 percent by mass sodium bicarbonate, 0.08 to 0.1 percent by mass sodium hydrophosphate and 0.003 to 0.01 percent by mass yellow nitrazine indicator. Object of this invention is higher buffer capacity which can be achieved by disclosed ratio between components, particularly, by increasing percentage of sodium bicarbonate (as compared with prior art). Disclosed agent allows visually controlling changes in disinfecting agent working form pH value owing to introduction of yellow nitrazine indicator, this being advantage of claimed agent as compared with prior art. EFFECT: higher buffer capacity, simpler constitution and not inferior effectiveness. 1 tbl
