FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: resistance of corn against stem rot is estimated by intensity of germination and by length of pollen tube. The process is carried out by cultivating pollen on nutrient medium in the presence of fusaric acid, its quantity being 0.0001-0.005 mg/ml. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 2 tbl
