FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: working wheel body of rotary excavator has load-bearing body, circular holder and hub support made integral and having shape of truncated cone made by drawing steel sheet. The unit is S-shaped in cross-section. Circular holder and hub support are located, respectively, on the side of large and small diameters of truncated cone. They are rounded and made by molding. Hub body is of disk shape with central through hole and installed with its outer end resting on load-bearing body. Free end face of hub support rests on body zone of hub found above its central through hole. Working wheel body has cross-pieces for installation of blades and circular flange for attachment of cross-pieces. The latter are uniformly welded to circular holder periphery. All contact points of parts are joined by welding. Design is simple in manufacture and repair. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 2 dwg
