FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: press has a receiving hopper, a perforated chute and a cylinder with a worm feeder, a squeezing rate control unit, a container, receiving juice, and a drive. Irregularly shaped plates are mounted in guides along the side edges of the perforated chute, worm feeder axis belonging to plates plane. The irregularly shaped plates are moveably mounted on the guides by means of elastic members performing rocking movements relative to an axis in engaging the worm flight in process of its rotation. Length of the plate area engageable with the worm flight is less than that of interflight recess in the worm feeder axial cross-section. EFFECT: higher production output. 3 dwg
