FIELD: pulse technique. SUBSTANCE: analog-to-digital converter has voltage-to-frequency pulse changer, three counters, two flip-flops, four one-shot multivibrators, two pulse shapers, AND and OR gates, pulse generator and distributor, voltage-to-current changer, three selector switches, switch, storage element built around capacitor, and current-limiting element built around resistor. Novelty is introduction of two counters, two flip-flops, AND gates, storage unit, and code commutator. EFFECT: same time of input voltage measurement as in prototype but shorter time intervals for yielding results which improves speed of response. 2 dwg
