FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: seeds are treated before sowing with preparation Krasnodar-1 (5-ethyl-5-hydroximethyl-2-(phuryl-2)-1,3-dioxane). Experiments for checking the disclosed method of increasing the yield of rice conducted for three years in the Krasnodar Agro-Industrial University and at farms of the Krasnodar territory have proved the high efficiency of the invention. EFFECT: better germination of seeds, improved structure of harvest and quality of rice, and higher yield in regions with a highly-saline soil on nonsaline background. 5 tbl
