FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: separator has frame 1 which mounts shafts 2 with overlapping disks 3. Fitted on shaft 2 opposite to disks are hubs 4 installed with clearance relative to disks 3. Hub located opposite to disk has shape identical to that of disk and faces of disks have bow-shaped surface. Separator operates as follows: peat and stumps from working members (for instance cutting mill) are delivered to rotating shafts 2 with disks 3 and peat passes between disks. Overlapping near disks clean each other constantly from entrained fibrous inclusions preventing their winding onto shafts 2, and constant clearance between disks 3 and hubs 4 maintained during rotation prevents wedging of stumps in between. Stumps cleaned from peat are transported along separator and are thrown off to form windrow or into transportation vehicle. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
